This keyboard does not have a traditional number lock button. the apple numeric keypad is meant for entering numeric data only, and is rarely if ever used as a substitute for the arrow keys. they don't even have arrows drawn on the numeric keypad.. We might have browsed a series of posts or threads like macbook pro no power on； macbook power key not working；macbook won’t turn on etc.. this problem usually relates to one of two things. I installed power plan assistant (and trackpad++), and the "turn off backlit keyboard" option doesnt do anything. i thought if i clicked on it, it'd toggle whatever setting it is it uses to actually turn it off, and i could use that to turn it on..
